Amazing staff. So kind and helpful. We absolutely loved our villa. However, the hotel advertised having a private beach but the whole time we were there, the tide was in and there was no beach.

2eme séjour au kupu kupu dans une see view pool villa . Par rapport au autres hôtels les infrastructures ont été entretenues et sont les mêmes à ce qu on a connu en 2020 .. on ne ressent pas le passage du Covid pendant 2 ans de fermeture Environnement toujours aussi magnifique , personnel agréable et disponible Formule repas du soir variée copieuse et de qualité Ressort garde un excellent rapport qualité prix pour un 5 étoiles Nul doute que nous reviendrons ..

This resort is amazing! Rooms are huge with private pools. We stayed 6 nights and loved every minute of our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely book with Kupu Kupu again when I come back to visit!

Schöne Anlage jedoch ist der Strand im Winter nicht mehr vorhanden was wir sehr vermissten. Es ist ein schönes Hotel aber kein 4.5/5*. Ca 19-20min bis zu den belebten Meilen zum essen, dafür hat es neben dem Hotel eine neue tolle Beachbar mit perfekter Aussicht zum Sonnenuntergang.

Stunning.
A stunning hotel. We loved: the pool area, the rooms, the service by Andy and Wayan - these guys went the extra mile and were super friendly! The room we had came with a plunge pool and direct access to the beach. We stayed for my 40th birthday and when we arrive the room was decorated with balloons and a birthday cake - nice touch. What could have been better: the location is pretty limiting and when the weather is bad there isn’t really much to do. Some of the service was a little patchy at times, it felt like new people were being trained though. Overall; a great hotel largely due to the stunning room and beach access. One of my 5 favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

A bit disappointing
The location and space are stunning but unfortunately are aging not very well....we came here in 2019 everything was pristine, we can see it is not been very well taken care of... service was pleasing and food very good! overall a bit too expensive for what it is, lacking modernity.

This is a beautiful resort. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The room was beautiful and the facilities (other than the dodgy wi-fi) were great. The only downfall for us was that the hotel presented itself as vegan friendly on the website (and we were asked regarding dietary requirements on arrival) but in practice the variety and quality of vegan food offered was basic, and other than great fruits and juices at breakfast, the meals were untempting and bland with unmarinated, soft tofu in most dishes, and no desserts other than fruit (we did check). This has certainly not been our experience in other hotels and resorts so was quite a disappointments. Nevertheless we found many amazing places serving great vegan food in the vicinity so this did not impact our stay too badly. When we did eat at the hotel the waiting staff were never less than warm and lovely. Overall, not our best experience of a resort or hotel in Thailand but still very good. The hotel does make a mistake in setting high expectations regarding its ability to provide for vegan guests.

Overpriced and run-down
Dated and run-down resort. Looks like they have given up a bit. The hotel is very overpriced for what it is. The breakfast was incredibly basic and definitely way below what you would expect from a “five-star” hotel. We constantly had people in our villa, cause everything was broken and kept breaking down. No hot water, tv was on and off, phone not working and constant power outages.

One of the best in Koh Phangan

Die Außenanlage macht einen schönen gepflegten Eindruck. Es gibt allerdings ausschließlich Liegen für 3 Paare. Auf Nachfrage, ob noch weitere Liegen zur Verfügung gestellt werden können, kam ein klares Nein. Das Frühstück ist leider sehr gering gehalten und die Qualität isr wirklich nicht gut. Die Zimmer sind mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet und sehen gut aus. Allerdings entspricht die Ausstattung 4 Sternen. Es gibt eine Happy Hour, allerdings haben wir noch nie so schlechte Cocktails getrunken. Abgesehen davon, dass mit Alkohol doch sehr gespart wurde. Das Fitnessstudio befindet sich nicht im Hotel. Man kann sich jedoch kostenlos vom Hotel fahren lassen. Trotzdem ein Manko. In der Umgebung des Hotels sind leider keine weiteren Restaurants. Man ist daher auf ein Tuk Tuk angewiesen, welche auf der Insel sehr teuer sind. Also mindestens 15 Euro immer hinzurechnen. Alles in allem kein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Einzigartiges Ambiente
Wunderschöne Hotelanlage. Von der Terrasse unseres Zimmers Nr. 2 konnten wir traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge geniessen. Der lange Swimmingpool ist herrlich. Schwimmen im Meer ist allerdings nur bei Flut möglich. Restaurant und Cocktailbar bieten gute Qualität und sehr schönes Ambiente. Zu Fuss kann man das Resort zwar nicht verlassen, da die Küstenstrasse eng und viel befahren ist, aber es fahren öffentliche Sammeltaxis (songthaews) - meistens wartet schon eines vor dem Hoteleingang auf Kundschaft. Für 100 Baht pro Person (ca 3 Euro) kommt man so z.B. nach Thongsala zum Nightmarket.

Luxury hôtel and fantastic sunset
Very nice boutique hotel. Great pool and wonderful view of the sea for amazing sunset. The sea view rooms need to be refreshed, but still have all the confort you need for a good night sleep. The staff is very attentive to your needs and the food is good but a bit pricy. There should be more lounge chairs by the pool.

Blew us away
Three nights in this hotel was one of the highlights of our 2.5 week thailand trip. Perfect, understated service - so relaxing and the most beautiful, peaceful hotel. Prices were not sky high, happy hour 241 cocktails 4-6pm, you could take back to your room. The place felt like a sanctuary and everyone seemed so chilled, even the staff. Well done Kupu Kupu

Wir hatten die Deluxe Suite mit Meerblick und Pool gebucht. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und können wir nur weiterempfehlen einziges kleines Manko war, dass auf unserer Toilette die komplette Zeit ein unangenehmer Geruch. Ebenfalls hat uns das reichhaltige Frühstück, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt, sehr gut gefallen.

Amazingly comfortable bed, huge room, avocado shaped bathtub. The view is stunning, location super convenient. Was romantic and blissful. If you rent motor scooter, you can get anywhere on the island fast, very central.
