We had a wonderful few days at Alpha! Jun and his staff were excellent in making certain our stay was enjoyable. The property is a very convenient walk to the Chaweng beach area, lively bars and restaurants, and the large Central shopping complex. The grounds are lush and tropical and the main pool is an enjoyable place to spend the day. We will certainly be returning for more visits!

Very basic - friendly staff
I stayed for 4 nights. The staff were all friendly and sweet. But the property was not for me. It did not meet the standards I am used to , unfortunately. Not their fault, its just not for me! Low points: no daily servicing for the rooms, no shower curtain in the bathroom, damp smell in the room, ac unit directly pointed to the bed and lastly the location. Even if it was not far from the city center it was still a 10-15 min walk. To sum up: i wouldnt go back as I am the kind of person that likes 4/5 stars. If you are not like me then go ahead.

The place is going through extensive renovation which i was aware of, so the noise by the pool was not a surprise nor were the guys painting. The room itself smelt of damp and the aircon failed to work, the toilets got blocked all in the first 24hr there. Jun did get everything working, but it felt for a 3 star place to be a big let down compared to other places we stayed in Thailand. The lack of staffing i didn't feel was a problem as Jun did everything himself and if it wasn't for him, this place would be a big let down. The grounds are well kept as was the pool and bar area, the drinks are reasonably priced, but the lack of onsite food is a mark against this place. On the plus side, the fact you can be nude at the pool was a big attraction for me, so well done on that. Location is a bit out of town, but not a big problem, however the distance does not stop the sounds from the clubs resonating in your room, not the places fault so it's not on them. Jun makes this place, but as a gay destination it has a long way to catch up with just the basic accommodation in Thailand.

Great stay
Amazing experience at the hotel. Although super quiet due to COVID, we were able to appreciate the beautiful property. Spectacular room in great location. Easy access to bars, shopping and beach. Super host Jun went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing time.

Amazing Resort
My partner and I stayed at this resort for three nights. It was a nice little paradise away. The resort is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time!

The property is far away from the beach close to a busy road. There is no restaurant no gym. You have to take your very basic breakfast into a very basic food shop across the road. The resort was empty. Overall disappointing.

Thank you for your review and we are sad that you are disappointed with your stay with us. You came during low season that is why we do not have much guests. The same everywhere. We do have gym and restaurant but offsite and the breakfast you had was free. Again, we apologize that you are disappointed.

I was welcomed by Kool, a delightful, you g Man , with a wonderful, can do personality. After a welcome Tea, I was taken thru the stunning grounds to my Balcony Superior Room. Clean as a whistle. Open shower concept, in room safe, tea Kettle, and s wide selection of downloaded Gay documentaries, and movies. Kool also showed me the swimming pool, which is more of a relaxing area as opposed to lap swimming. Pool parties are held in the afternoon, which allows you to meet your neighbours, and locals are free to attend. A great restaurant, with many food options is across the street, and a short walk takes you to Central Mall. A perfect getaway spot. Thank you,Jun, and all your fabulous Staff.

Good relaxing place for a get away.
All fine, staff attentive and helpful, quick to attend to any questions etc., nice relaxing atmosphere. Think it relatively new, deserves to do well. Hope their hard work pays off.

Buon resort, ben tenuto e pulito, con personale molto efficiente: il manager, Jun, è semplicemente straordinario nel fornire assistenza per qualsiasi esigenza e nel creare un buon clima fra gli ospiti. A circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla spiaggia. La prima colazione e eventuali altri pasti sono forniti dal buon ristorantino di fronte. Da ritornarci.

Enjoyable & Relaxing Resort....
I had a fantastic stay at the Alpha Resort. The place has only been open less than a year and all rooms have been totally remodelled and are clean and tastefully decorated. All staff are very friendly and Jun, the manager, is always on hand with a big smile to help with any queries you mights have. The pool parties are an awesome way to get to meet new people. The pool area is also clothing optional it makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. All in all I would highly recommend the Alpha Resort and would not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to Koh Samui

Great hotel for the gay traveller.
Great hotel, really friendly staff and felt at ease. Rooms are great and clean. Grounds are kept well, both pools were great.

Nieuw resort met aardige staf
Nieuw hotel in Samui. Standaardkamers zijn ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Flat tv met video en muziek kanalen Twee maal per week worden er zg Poolpartys gehouden waar ook locale bevolking op af komt. Groot voordeel is dat het hotel een overeenkomst heeft met een beachclub waardoor je gratis een strandbad met handdoeken krijgt, verder krijgt men korting bij het eten. Strand is ongeveer 20 min lopen van het hotel Het grote winkelcentrum Central ligt op 10 min lopen

Great hotel, in a convenient location
We had a great stay here, shame it was only for one night. Rooms are new & designed well. Very affordable rates for a new hotel. They've also got a connection to a local gym, which is very well equiped. We will be back!

very comfortable, modern and close to the center
Had a great time at Alpha fro the welcoming at the airport, during my stay and I would go back and recommend my friends to come along? Fun social activities where organised and also private tours as you wished. The resort is very friendly and respectful of each one and others privacy and purpose of trip. I had full trust in them and felt very safe. Their values of saving energy and primary resources to keep this beautiful island pristine were exemplary and ahead of many places. Service was efficient and friendly. No hidden costs and reasonable prices over all. I wish the team lots of success for many years to come and especially would like to thank JUN for his caring and supportive positive attitude and devotion. Keep it up guys and thank you so much for your hospitality! .

Great stay for relaxing vacation.
Thats the only gay hotel in Samui. Was chosen for stay for relax and to avoid staying with families and children. Located off busy street of Chaweng, some good and cheap restaurants in the area. You can have a good breakfast just across the street. Spend there 8 nights and it was one of my best vacations! ( and i do travel a lot). Jun, the manager and all staff was great, very welcome! Helped us a lot to improve the vacation, from getting direction to booking a tour or renting a car. The hotel doesn't located on the beach, you need to walk about 15 minutes. So if you looking for beachfront hotel, that hotel is not for you. Located on hill side in from of Chaweng lake. Alpha has nice pool and they organise pool parties on Wednesday and Saturday. Bar prices are very reasonable - beer 120B, cocktail 220B. Very clean hotel ! Ask for shuttle from / to airport, its cheaper than a taxi !

Nice renovated hotel with good location
I spent 5 nights there and it's such an amazing time that I have ever had. My hotel room is neat, tidy and renovated with a transparency ceiling of my bathroom which made my whole stay even enjoyable. There is a large and lovely pool which is just near to my room and you could get to know other tenants easily while you were having a good time there. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They would sort out your problems immediately and especially, Jun, who is the general manger, he would like to show you around the night scene nearby while you were staying in the hotel. I really had a great time there and I would definitely pick this resort once again if I get a chance to visit Koh Samui again.
