Great place for value

Great stay for the money. Bed was firm in room I checked into. They moved me to another room with a softer bed. Very nice staff and stay. 👍

Great campsite for what it cost .!!! Seriously, excellent value. Double Deluxe with balcony. Breakfast, very traditional and very basic. An old palace with a beautiful pool on the top of the building.

Big room and clean Pay a bit more and get a balcony over looks the mountains very pleasant Comfortable bed Reception very nice and kind Breakfast was buffet and very good first day and ok second but it will depend on what you like to eat Secure rooms good Thai restaurant near just turn right out of hotel about 100m down For the beach turn left and walk up to family mart and follow. The road that runs down the side orlf family mart

Ett fint hotell med underbar pool på taket. Gångavstånd till stranden och en del närbutiker. Dock ligger hotellet ganska öde så det är perfekt för en resa med ändamålet att sola och bada men vill man ha mer än så hade jag valt en annan del av ön.

Dated Hotel

Like a lot of hotels in Thailand, the Amarin is a lovely old building, but in need of refurbishment. The air on unit is old, and let's smoke from other guests rooms in.

Would stay again

Great friendly service. At 11pm we noticed our air conditioner wasn't working and they came to our room right away. They were unable to fix it so they offered us s new room with a free upgrade! They offer free dvd's, have an awesome clean rooftop pool. Def would go back here, even though they are off the beach.

Das Personal war wirklich immer sehr freundlich. Auch das Putzpersonal hat ihre Arbeit immer sehr gut erledigt. Zu bemängeln ist lediglich die direkte Umgebung und der Zustand der räumlichen Einrichtung. Auf den Fotos sieht alles luxuriöser aus als es in Wirklichkeit ist.

Check in was quick and easy with very kind staff. The room smelled like a spa upon arrival and was very clean and spacious. We suggest paying extra for the room that includes breakfast as it was pretty good and convenient but he morning. There were a few restaurants and bars near by however we did find it a bit difficult to get a taxi to the main attractions. The street that the property is on is very busy and hard to cross with the amount of traffic. The roof top pool was beautiful with a great view!

Quick overnight stay

We checked in here for one night before heading to Koh Tao. It's on the main road so pretty busy outside, but if you walk a bit and get off the main street, it is much calmer to find a spot to eat or drink. The hotel was a bit outdated - I would say 2.5 stars - especially the bathroom. The hotel overall is probably 3 star: the breakfast included was great with an awesome fruit selection, and the pool on the roof was lovely. It would be nice if they either had towels at the pool or extra towels in the room. They also had a large collection of DVDs available to check out for free, which is great! Note: 1000 baht deposit required at check in. There is an ATM next door.

Nice and quiet

Nice, quiet and very clean hotel. People from the hotel are so king, they do anything to make your stay agreable. Pool on the roof is amazing! Dont miss the local restaurant on the same side of the road with the big poster with yellow letters, the chief is amazing! Maenam beach is clean and beautiful!

Very close to the Maenam business area. Not all that far from the beach, but it takes a bit of walking to get there. Was good value for money

喫煙の部屋を予約したけど禁煙のお部屋でした。ホテルの廊下は薄暗くホテルじゃない感じですが、お部屋は広めで綺麗でした。

Udemærket indtil man skal skulle booke en bustur til Hua Hin, hvor vi fik af vide at der ikke var nogle.. Vi går så op på værelset og prøver selv og finder det straks! På dagen hvor vi skal tjekke ud har vi bestilt en taxa til kl 7, og da kl er 7.25 og taxaen stadig ikke er kommet, går vi op i receptionen og siger vi vil have vores penge tilbage og så bare at tage en af de mange taxaer der kører forbi. Straks jeg sagde vi ville have pengene tilbage, kunne de komme igang og ikke andet end 30 sekunder efter holder der en bil. Svært at kommunikere med dem i receptionen, da de er dårlige til engelsk!

Nice hotel, poor location.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for our last three days in Thailand. We really liked the hotel and the staff were awesome and very helpful. Location not the best. Our second last night we shared a seafood pasta, both ended up with food poisoning. Didn't make for a fun 20 hours of flying the next day. Overall, great place, but watch what you are eating.
