"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to. The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic. "The proprietor did not know he had guests staying with them. When I called he was surprised . First it is not what is advertised in the Expedia website. The location requires a 4x4, not a little truck, a Jeep Wrangler to get to it. The road to the location is not paved at all. It is all rocks, dirt, ruts on the ground and its location is high in the mountain, with gully’s and embankments to the jungle which could not be accessed by another vehicle (fire truck, ambulance or rescue).
