"Flexible arrival and departure - while we could have collected/dropped off the keys at tea room, there’s a key safe available if arriving later/departing earlier. Tidy cottage with comfortable beds. Perfect location for The Roaches and a nice choice of restaurants not far away in Buxton, if you prefer to eat out."

"Great, roomy cottage. Perfect base for exploring the Peak District. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Close to several pubs and supermarkets. There is definitely a washer, not sure if there was a dryer."

"Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. Both the bedroom & bathroom are great, although there is a step up to the shower which is quite precarious. The cottage was...

"Absolutely perfect stay in the Cowshed. Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen utensils and some disposables which aren't always provided so that was a bonus. Lovely welcome basket of local produce provided on arrival. Property owner was easily reachable and quick to respond when needed."
