"Lovely hotel in the heart of Crickhowell with its lovely scenery and plenty of pubs and eateries. Rooms were of a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely rainfall shower and a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced. "

"A really lovely welcome and a lovely stay. Room was clean and had all the facilities you’d need for a comfortable stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a little busy in the restaurant due to a wedding and a large birthday happening at the same time but once we got some attention we were looked after. Breakfast was nice but would have appreciated some alternative milks on the buffet due to my dairy allergy. "

"The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. "

"Good value for money. Excellent food and a good location for visiting the surrounding areas. Pleasant staff and plenty of free on site parking. Only negative was road noise so would recommend ear plugs. Would stay again. "

"Rooms were excellant, breakfast was really good but best of all the most dog friendly place I've everstayed!! This was an extremely busy Saturday night pub where I sat at the bar with my dog also sat on a stool. When door security come over and make a fuss of your dog and go and get some treats, it was just brilliant. A really lovely stay. I won't make the mistake of asking for a full English for breakfast in a Welsh pub again!!! "

"We enjoyed every single moment of our stay at the wonderful Saracens Head Inn from the initial welcome we received on checking in, right up until the day we had to leave (very sadly) and checked out. "Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast.
