"My room had a princess balcony that opened on to a pretty courtyard with an orange tree. Despite being in the centre of town, a 3-minute walk from the station, it was lovely and quiet. Room was comfortable and had its own mini coffee machine. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was a surprise. There was a whole table full of home-made sweet and savoury dishes: tarts, filled croissants, crême caramel, clafoutis, breads, as well as the yoghurt, fruit, French cheeses and hams in the fridge. "The best thing about the hotel was the terrace and view from the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fairly standard, the food was good but what you would expect from a breakfast buffet. Check in was stressful as I had been delayed in arriving at the hotel and due to the complex layout the employee at the desk insisted I waited for the valet. I had to wait 15 minutes for him to come and was late for a dinner reservation as a result. The valet, who I didn’t ask for, then...
