I booked this hotel as a birthday getaway for my mom, thinking it would be an upscale hotel experience because the reviews were good but I was honestly disappointed and won’t be back for a stay.
The pros: the two girls who checked us in were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The location was good, the area is safe. The room was quiet.
The cons: the hallways were really humid and smelt musty. When we got to our floor there was a vacuum sprawl out and left in the hallway with laundry. The first room we had also smelt very musty like a cottage or a basement (but we were on the top floor). We had to switch rooms because the smell bothered us so much. We got a second room on the other end of the same floor and it was still musty, but we turned the AC on high and bought some room spray when we were shopping so that we wouldn’t have to move again. The king bed seemed to be a queen size.. The breakfast in the morning had good options, but could have been better. They served breakfast on paper plates which I have never seen in my life at a hotel especially a Hyatt? By 8:30 all of the fruit was gone and they didn’t offer any more so we didn’t get any.. There was also a lady putting out the hot food who was super grouchy and rude, yelling at the guests for not putting lids back on and was slamming things around. Really turned us off of a nice breakfast experience. Blonde girl at the front desk in the morning was also grouchy.
Disappointed and wont be back..
