"Spent 5 nights at The White Villas with our 2.5year old. The villa itself is a little dated, but it definitely adds to the rustic charm. There are quite a few insects (geckos especially), but you get used to it after a while - besides, you are in Ubud, of course there will be insects everywhere. "Room and bathroom were spacious. I liked the water dispenser in the room which also provided instant hot water. Pool area was lovely and we had it to ourselves one afternoon. There is a spa in the hotel, recommend the foot and Balinese massage. Staff were very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby."

"Excellent place to stay. Clean and friendly staffs. The property is beautiful. I am slightly picky person and would recommend this place. It’s slightly away from shopping areas. Cabs are ample available through grab app. But for the property cleanliness it’s worth it. "

"Never ever book this hotel even if you get free deal. Worst ever experience. I travel globally but never had such a bad experience anywhere. They literally don’t pick up your call if you need anything. The shower gel was finished and I made complaint 3 times, still they didn’t refill it. Also bathroom shower gel dispenser was broken before I checked in and they thought I broke it. Later on confessed that it was their mistake. The reception staff is not at all polite. "
