"Nice hotel in a nice location. Some reception staff are more helpful than others. Breakfast is awful. Cleaning staff take all of 1 minute to "refresh" your room. At check in you're asked to give a 1000 baht deposit, which is absolutely fine. At check out we were told that a bottle opener was missing from our room. We had'nt seen or used a bottle opener in the duration of our stay. When my husband had a beer in the room he had to use our nail clippers to open the bottle. Long story short, we were...

"Amazing views, beautiful pools, on the beach. Adequate breakfast with the usual fair, prepped very well. The signage for the hotel location is really hard to see with a 5 min walk to checkin. Was easy for me to get twisted around with all the different footpaths, but people will help when you ask. Typical Thailand, so kind. 🙏🙏"

"Advice going for the Deluxe Pool Access. It was clean, comfortable and great view and direct access to private sun-beds and access to the pool. No “entertainment” was allowed in the pool which we enjoyed reading our favourite books in silence. Fantastic friendly personal who did the outmost to make you feel prioritised and welcome. "God beliggenhed, dejlig strand, store værelser. 3 pools som var 30+ grader varme. Personalet i receptionen samt housekeeping var meget imødekommende, dog virkede personalet ved strandbaren og restauranten ugidelige og ikke imødekommende. Ikke smilende som man normalt møder thaierne. Det gjorde desværre oplevelsen lidt blandet. Morgenmaden og thaimaden i restauranten var lækkert. "The staff were wonderful at the restaurants and kids club. We travelled as a family with 3 kids and one parent working, so it was a welcome relief to have the staff so friendly and welcoming to kids. More than that, the staff were helpful on our trips down to the beach or with any questions we had about logistics. Our stay was quiet, in May. Sitting by the pool watching the storms was a highlight. "

"We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"
