"I booked this motel because we had a flight out of Tahiti leaving at 3.55am and wanted somewhere we could sleep, shower then walk to the airport with our luggage & not have to worry about taxis. "This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. "We only stayed one night at the Hotel Sarah Nui, and although it was old and the furnishings were old and mismatched, the room and bathroom were extremely clean which is what is important to us. The shower was great - plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable. Very nice staff who allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours and called us a taxi. The hotel is nice for a one or two night stay."
"My room was very clean and the staff (especially clement!) were so kind and very helpful! My room AC worked perfectly and the location was great for what I was looking for. My only complaint is that it was a bit challenging to slide my bag under to store it and be able to come down from the top bunk without stepping on top."
