"To be honest, it was a cheap option to stay in for a night before an early Birmingham flight, and I was on my own. Brilliant friendly bar downstairs, great start to holiday. Building a bit tired where I stayed, but clean and did the job! Would defo do this again. Lovely staff! "

"Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. "Booked at short notice for the NEC we were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds and updated room decor."

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building. "For the price, cannot complain. Its student accommodation so you will be sharing with students during their summer holidays. So dont expect 3-5 star service/ cleanliness. I was satisfied with my stay, it fit the purpose."
