Nan Madol ruins in Pohnpei #FSM. This amazing archeological complex should be on a world heritage list. A series of basalt column islets built on a coral reef, the structures at Nan Madol continue to baffle archeologists. Hire a boar to see all of the intricate structures on the reef, or pay around $7 (a few dollars to a few different gatekeepers) to gain access to the main structure from land. Make sure you take a local with you to negotiate!
