"Property is on the older side but rooms had a fantastic view and was very clean. beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked well and hotel is close to everything being right on the beach. Markets on Friday night were fantastic as was the mountain temple. Would definitely stay again."

"The pictures online are very deceiving. The facility is very dated, the room was musty and had a lot of mosquitoes and cockroaches. The walls were thin so we kept the bathroom fan on all night to help with the noise of other people down the hallway from us. I would not stay here again. A positive is that the facility is located directly across from the beach and there is a great running path along the beach. "

"I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities. "
