Turned up to find the whole building in scaffolding getting the cladding done, no access to small balcony, fridge needs defrosting, external glazing dirty and still with plastic wrapping, laundry being tied in one of the storage areas. The kitchen was missing a cupboard door, the doors were peeling, the tap leaked, and most importantly, the fridge did not shut so there was a huge block of ice in the fridge which was melting and leaking onto the shelves and drawers. "It is a terrible place to stay, the only (small) window of the studio was just above a generator running 24/7, so the smoke of the exhaust pipe would enter the studio if we wanted to open the window for fresh air! Plus constant noise of the engine. They send like 10 automatic emails in a day but never reply to my messages about my request to change room, never offer for a partial reinsbursement.
