"This is a terrible property ... completely false advertising. NOT family friendly. For a family of 7, with 3 toddlers and 2 infants ... they made me reserve 2 suites as they claimed that we could not fit in one suite. While checking in, they said, ooops we made a mistake, yes you guys can all stain in one suite. When I asked about the refund for the second suite, they refused to even discuss it. "It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. Staff was always very nice and friendly - especially to both of our kids. Thank you Maistra Funtana team. See you next year! "

"Had a lovely stay at Katerina Island Hotel. Very peaceful and relaxing, but with the buzz of Rovinj just a 5 minute boat ride away. The hotel staff were pleasant, and helpful. The room was large and clean, although the shower was tiny and in need of some tlc Would definitely recommend this hotel, and Rovinj is a beautiful place. Wish we were back there now!!"

"Apartment terrible. Shower wasn't cleaned properly for ages. Bathroom door had water damage. Tv rather than stay in the bedroom it was in the tiny kitchen. We can barely move in there No wifi service on the room just public areas. Our on internet didn't work there. Our kid couldn't lay down to watch tv in bed because the tv is in the kitchen wall. Principal door handle doesn't work properly. Spider web around the apartment. Damaged walls ... We took pictures to share. Air-conditioner not...

"We could not recognize the hotel from the pictures, the outdoor pool is not at this hotel, but the neighbor hotel.. indoor pool is small & pretty old, also room & bathroom was very old and run down. Hotel location is good near the port. Breakfast was good."
