"Great place, delicious food and excellent location."

"Staff where really friendly and helpful from managers through to restaurant staff, hotel was clean and tidy we"

"Great location if you’re coming and going by train. Ask for a room “not” facing the street - mine did and even with ear plugs the traffic noise was quite loud. (Doesn’t help old school single pane windows which I suppose is common there.) Shower was also weak and stain on duvet cover was, even though small, gross. That said, location, staff and breakfast (included) were great."

"The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again"

"Nice, Big Room! Beautiful Decorated House. Helpful and Friendly staff."

"Convenient location and very helpful staff."

"Room was clean, staff were very friendly, breakfast had a good choice."

"Just a great traditional pub, in the middle of no where! Great staff really lovely food. Definitely recommend"

"Overall nice room, great location but disappointed with Expedia inflating the price of breakfast. Hotel charge £13pp served at the pub across the road (fab breakfast) we were charged £27pp"

"Quaint, small and friendly"

"Great place to stay in the lovely village of Kirkby Lonsdale "

"Stunning guest house, absolutely spotless. Would definitely recommend, and also stay again."
