"The photo of the hotel looks great but our room was at the front of the hotel,at the corner of a very busy road,at the exit of the town,so in summer i bet you cant sleep with an open window. The bathtub has been put the wrong way,so when you are sitting in that very narrow bath,the tap is on your shoulder! A bit dangerous if you want to add some hot water.. Breakfast was very good. "We booked this hotel last minute as we wanted somewhere to put our head down traveling back from the South of France to Calais. We arrived late at night say 11pm was given our room and all looked well and clean. My husband woke about 5.30am to the sound of mosquitos..we had both been bitten several times. when he turned on the light the floor was covered in ants from the bathroom all the way into the bedroom. We reported it to the girl in the morning she came and took photos and said she’d report it to her deputy manager and apologised. She took my email and telephone details and said she’d report it and we would at least get a refund. Two weeks later I’ve still not heard anything and still no refund. Would I stay here again….most definately not"

"The hotel is fantastic, the pool and the amenities in general are very neat. They offer us a baby crib and the front desk people were fantastic. The only bad side is if you do not speak French it was very difficult to get service at the one restaurant available because no one but the front decal and the manager speak English. I guess if you travel to a country where French is the first languages expected however for the price I would have expected more English friendly service. "
