"Great room, new hotel so everything in decent shape. Large car park. Staff member on reception wouldn’t check us in without passports on every guest, which having come from France where everything is more relaxed, this seemed pretty intense. I dunno, maybe it’s a law in Spain. Decent buffet style breakfast too. Overall a good stay on the way through the Basque region."

"Location is perfect but if you’re driving, parking is a vey problematic, they don’t have a garage so you’ll be subjected to fight for a parking spot especially the weekend. The hotel itself is as advertised , old and charming. So no A/C , rooms are spacious and clean and the staff made up for all the inconveniences, very accommodating and helpful . I’ll still consider staying here next time"

"Lovely 19th century villa with fantastic views and wonderful staff. I would stay again for sure, despite being surprised that the split unit AC doesn’t work, only half the windows open, some bathtub tiles were old and appeared moldy, and there seemed to be no real concern about any of it. Still, I’ll pick the same apartment next time, and maybe bring my own large coffee mug and kitchen sponge :-)"
