"I had an overall pleasant stay at the Gateway Inn in Ashford, Washington. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location—being right near the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park makes it incredibly convenient for anyone planning to explore the area. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and really adds to the experience. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

"Be prepared to not find anyone at the office, but someone will show up once you call their number and leave a message. Very old mansion that needs much TLC. Staff once accessible, are very friendly and helpful. Canceling a reservation is very difficult, as they demand a 14 day notice. The cabin we were given had a lot of standard amenities, but just not enough and very small."

"Great historical hotel, beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location, so close to lots of trails, amazing park.
What I did not like much: quality and variety of meals at the restaurant was not great. The hotel has just one restaurant, it is expensive, but the meals are not good enough for me, did not enjoy them as much. And very limited vegetarian options."

"Absolutely loved staying in this cabin!! Finding it was a little difficult because the driveway had no numbers and led to a different cabin on the same property, but the house and spot itself had a perfect blend of privacy and camping experience we were looking for. Very clean and comfortable beds and amenities! Can’t wait to visit again!"

"There was no thermostat in our unit, the heat was controlled in the other unit. We didn't like this, the house was too warm for us. The house is on a road that is across from a tax lien vacant property that attracted loud cars at all hours of the night. The shower is small and the shower head is low.
