"Rustic, charming building with plenty of space. A three minute walk to museum and breakfast restaurant. Very good, varied food to choose from"

"nice place, and undiscovered secret for a wellness break in Southern Finland. Nice big, comfortable beds, and sofa bed for family room was also comfortable. Rooms had balcony, and fun activities to do, like mini golf, swimming, and going on the trials. A pool table would be a fantastic addition. ;) The food was acceptable and typical for breakfast. The hairdryer wasn't working in the room, and most likely had a workable one available at reception. Plenty of parking too."

"This is not a five star hotel but our stay rates five stars because for a bare bones, no frills hotel, everything was great. The hotel is on a main street a short walk from a beach, the port restaurants, and shopping. The room was spotless when we arrived and the bed was comfortable, so in terms of value, this was a terrific place to stay. Since there are no amenities (no guest laundry for example), there is really nothing to rate, but again for the price this was a fine place to stay. We were surprised that there was no air conditioning, but as it turned out we really didn’t need it at night as the July evenings were cool."

"This is a very lovely stay in Salo. The staff is fantastic, the breakfast was great, sauna and pool available and the place has some historic value. I was there with my wife and kids and would definitely go again. Has a real boutique feeling instead of a big chain hotel. Loved it."

"A nice historic and rustic cabin near the lake. Breakfast was good and the wifi worked well. I rode my bike to the hotel. There are not many amenities in the general area, but easy to access with a car."
