"Villa Revedin is a centuries-old noble country house. It's a beautiful structure, and sits on park-like grounds. While some of the photos of the property feature pretty and tastefully-decorated guest rooms, mine was not like that. As is the case with many of these ancient properties, the decor feels '70s or '80s, and is charmless. My room felt like any ordinary motel room, and was inconsistent with the house. So... I don't know where those nicely-decorated rooms are, or if they exist. ...

"It was unique in that it has been around for 5 centuries. The staff was VERY attentive and helpful with the area. With that being said the rooms were old and needed updating, the bed was VERY hard and uncomfortable. We were expecting the room to have A/C but it had been turned off so we had to sleep with the window open. The shower was VERY small. The breakfast that was offered was very limited in the choices and quantity of food items. On the last day we discovered that the room had ants."

I highly recommend eating at the on-site restaurant- wine and food was delicious. And a bonus that time at the spa is included- a lovely way to unwind after a long day."

The 2 downsides for me - the mattress too firm and pillows too thin; the water from the shower kept getting on floor because no barrier to stop it."
