"Understaffed front desk on check in and it appeared to be like that our entire stay. Front was friendly but it’s hard to manage numerous people checking in when there is only one person working the front desk. Parking was very limited. We had to park in their lot space beside the Walgreens across the street which wouldn’t have bothered me if the first 4 rows of parking weren’t blocked off for valet for Sloppy Joe’s (Bilmar’s restaurant). It would be better to accommodate your guests to the closer parking across the street. "

"I was a little disappointed in the quality of this hotel given the extremely high cost to stay there. Two of the three elevators were not working during our stay and they had the stairwell blocked off. So we had no choice but to wait in a long line to get into the one working elevator after coming back from a long day. The elevator wait times were too long. I was also disappointed there was no fan in my room's bathroom. The bathroom was very small and got very steamy/foggy when running the shower due to no fan exhaust fan in there. The pool was also not as nice as in the pictures. "

"We had a walk out room with a beach view which was beautiful. Jamie who helped us with the kayaks was very nice and informative. Outdoor pools were nice, bummer the hot tub was not working. Downfall to the property, not enough beach chairs to accommodate guest and day pass visitors. "

"Bar bones and excellent if you need to be in that part of town. Walking distance to many activities. Don't expect luxury but it does have a fridge and microwave."

"Amenities were awesome. Very nice resort. Rooms were a little outdated but perfect for a family vacation. My only complaint was they tried to charge me 25$ a night x5 nights for a bassinet for my newborn. I went and bought one for 60$. Resort fees and parking really add up- over 400$ for a 5 night stay. Overall I would recommend it, especially if you’re getting a good rate. Restaurants are good but severely overpriced- can walk across the street and each much better and for way less money, "

"this past week was our second time staying at Zota. First trip last year was ok but this trip, not so much. The staff here wasn't very pleasant and the hose keepers missed cleaning our room 3 days out of the 7 we stayed there. coffee runs out in the morning and 4 days I notified the staff asking to bring more. idk I feel like resort staff should keep an eye on stuff like coffee in the morning?? decent bang for your buck if your looking to get out on the island but don't except too much from Zota. the valet service on the other hand was top notch! those guys were running around like crazy getting everyone to their vehicles as quickly as possible. too bad the good service ends at their front door..."
