"We travelled with an infant and stayed in the Junior Suite for three nights. The overall experience was good, I think this is a good, serious hotel. The location is great for walking around Kalmar old town or near the water by the castle. The hotel is spread over several buildings, which contributes to a personal vibe which at least made us feel more like we lived there rather than being just a number, but everyone has their preferences so travellers should be aware of that. The room was clean, amenities were good. The hotel has a welcoming outside bar/cafe area which was calm with people enjoying their drinks in the afternoon sun. The breakfast was good, it was a good hotel breakfast. We did not have any problems or any need really to talk to the staff about anything in particular, but they were friendly and polite. The hotel provides parking at an additional cost, we booked it in advance so we had a space reserved, but I overheard that it was fully booked so if you want to park your car by the hotel, it is probably best to book the parking in advance. I would recommend this hotel for vacation travellers or people looking for somewhere calm and inviting to stay for a night or two when visiting Kalmar. I would probably not stay here when travelling on business, but again everyone has their preferences. In conclusion: A nice, good hotel at a good location without any bad surprises. I would absolutely stay here again."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was enjoyable. We would definitely consider staying here again."
