"The property is tired.
Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff.
Long waiting times for food.
Ordering systems that failed.
Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work.
Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing.
No obvious management.
Fabulous views, great weather.
Frustrating hotel.
We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer.
What a lost...

"Lovely location, parking at the hotel is limited. We stayed for four nights, Breakfast was a disappointment, on three occasions the eggs were over cooked, fresh fruit was a slice of Mellon, no bread/ roles. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was located a the rear of the hotel looking over a covered area for pub and hotel guests use. with the windows open the noise from this area was disturbing. But overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Highly recommend this guesthouse. Spotless with attention to detail. Delicious breakfast using local produce.
Homemade Granola and bread.
Received a warm welcome . We will certainly visit again next time we visit Cornwall."

"Situated in the village square two local pubs where meals are available a few steps away. Owner made porridge especially not normally on the menu cooked breakfast had everything ideal for visiting local coast of the lizard "

"Our stay was excellent. The property was very clean and well equipped. The games room was great for us and very clean. Tricia invited our kids to pick the eggs in the morning and to take part in feeding 'Timmy' the sheep, the kids loved it! The welcome basket was exceptional - eggs from the farm, organic loaf of bread, jam and home made scones made by Tricia, local dairy milk and clotted cream. All was delicious! Tricia also makes her own soaps which there was a bar supplied and heavely scented!...
