"This was such a special place to stay. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, and the housekeeping team was incredibly kind and helpful. The owners have clearly put an enormous amount of thought and care into this property. The attention to detail is top-notch. Everything feels intentional without feeling fussy, and that makes the whole place feel incredibly welcoming. The small deer fawn made a couple appearances too ❤️ But what I’ll remember most is the setting. The beautiful orchard, the peaceful grounds, and especially the upstairs room where I could just sit, look out over everything, and take it all in. There was something incredibly calming about being here. I had nowhere I needed to be and nothing I needed to do for a little while, just time to enjoy where I was. My dad would have loved this place. I could hear exactly what he would have said: “Oh look, they’re apples. Those are pears…” And onward he would have gone, pointing out every kind of tree, how old he thought they were, and probably noticing a dozen things I had completely missed. I lost my dad this spring, and somehow this was the perfect place to land for a couple of days. Surrounded by trees, quiet, and enough space to simply sit and remember him. Beautiful, peaceful, thoughtful, welcoming, and a genuinely special part of my time in northern Spain. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
