Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

"Hotel manager is very kind and funny but hotel is ratjer rundown. Feels like a 3 star hotel that has seen its best years already. Rooms are dusty, breakfast tables not wiped, every step you will see sth broken. But that is a picture we whitness nowadays in most previously highly rated hotels. Due to Covid and lock down there was no money to maintain the hotels. The humidity in sri lanka quickly destroys materials so they need constant maintenance."
