"The room was nice & clean , a bonus was the air conditioning as it was hot weather . We also ate evening meal there which was ok , breakfast was plentiful with a good choice
. We only stayed one night on our way to Scotland & our daughter & family met us there to complete the journey . What was nice was that they were able to park & use the hotel for food / drinks etc .

"This hotel though it has lovely rooms, but is not suitable for any one with mobility issues. The rooms are on the the second floor without lifts. Breakfast was good in quality and choice. Car parking was limited and the spacing tight."

"Beautiful period property with tall ceilings and all the usual lovely period features. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast buffet every morning and evening meals were also very tasty. Stayed in an Executive Room which was very spacious, warm and well kitted out. Biscuits, coffee bags, tea and hot chocolate plus bottle wated provided in the rooms. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out. Would be very pleased to stay again if in the area.

"The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. I phoning reception 3 times to ask if the room next door could turn their television down which was blaring for hours. After the third phone call over 2 hours they eventually did at 10.30pm.
