"We stayed for one night to meet friends on the waterfront. Perfect location for the eateries there and easy access to the high street too. Parking is a little limited at peak times but there’s a multi storey next door. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really good too with lots of choice, although the coffee wasn’t great. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Will stay again if we’re in the area."

"Room excellent, upgraded to executive room, but on 2nd floor, with no lift working. This was OK, but only because we had very light luggage. We really need a ground floor room if there's no lift now, as we are both pensioners sand beginning to experience mobility issues with stairs."

"Breakfast was very good, good variety and hot. My wife is Lactose intolerant and wheat free. The staff were very helpful in making sure that she was given freshly cooked items. The room was clean ans Sraff very friendly. We didn't use the bar as were were attending an R.A.F. Reunion. The only disappointment was the cost of the car park."

"Clean property, amazingly friendly staff (especially Matilda). Loved the ambience, the quality of the food and wines. Only very minor quibble was we were in the eaves which did not give us a lot of headroom when getting into bed. Loved this place and would highly recommend it and would like to return in the future. I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers."
