"The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff pleasant."

"Most of the beer in the bar was off. We asked for an extra fan for the room, it didn't turn up. My wife is a vegan, we asked for oatmilk in the room. That didn't arrive either. To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again."

"The rooms were basic and not cleaned to the highest standard (stains in toilet, roll on deodorant left on the floor from previous occupant). We only live 15 mins away and only booked to get a night with air-con during heat wave as advertised only to be told on arrival that the air-con was not working throughout most rooms and it would be pot luck as to whether ours would, luckily it did. The reception staff found it funny that the air-con might not work. We arrived at around 3pm and walking...

"Hotel was fine. It wasn’t amazing nor was it poor. It was fine. We had a family room and it was plenty big enough. Rooms could do with air conditioning as they were so warm and also some security on the windows. With two small children and being on the ground floor the windows could be pulled open from outside and climbed through sonw had to keep them closed and roast all night. Pool was nice, breakfast was decent. Parking spaces are tiny so if you have anything bigger than a mini, prepare to...

"Cabin on the water was lovely & the balcony a great feature although needed an umbrella & seat cushions. Unfortunately the bar & terrace area was taken over by a golf presentation so a little disappointing as very limited free seating & early closing for bar & food provision. Huge stain on the bedroom carpet, bathroom door hard to close & a very noisy toilet seat! Plenty of parking & a quiet night’s sleep. It was close to our planned event but wouldn’t stay again."
