"I stayed at the Royal Golf Hotel in Dornoch with my dog. The golf course and surrounding area are absolutely stunning — clearly a lot of care goes into keeping them in top condition. The hotel itself has charm and a lovely old-world feel, but unfortunately the guest experience didn’t match the setting. "Beautiful place. Loved how old and well maintained it was. Rooms were very spacious and decorated well. They were not serving dinner that night but recommended the train station close by and it was excellent. However, we did eat breakfast there the next morning and it was very good! I would love a longer stay here as we only were able to stay one night."

"This hotel is phenomenal. I don’t say that lightly, I’ve stayed at many unique , great hotels, but Links House is truly above them all. The service, the comfort of the quality bedding and linens, the wonderful breakfast that is offered to all guests to mention a few were exceptional. The location is perfect if you’re interested in golfing Royal Dornoch or visiting a quaint village in the Highlands. I highly recommend this hotel!"
