"If you want a relaxed break this is a great hotel to book, just come back from a weekend away. What a joy to stay somewhere with such amazing staff. Room was lovely very clean comfy bed. Great breakfast we also dined in the restaurant and bar which was really nice. Had a three hour spa to finish off our stay. Will definitely be back."

"Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Old school service where staff wait for you to pass rather than rushing to get where THEY need to be is actually quite refreshing these days. Can some things be improved, sure but this hotel has a lovely pool, great dinner and breakfast and just a lovely vibe. Check it out, for the most of us, it’s a wonderful experience. "

"We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay at The Studley Hotel. Our room was clean, spacious & provided full amenities. The staff are very welcoming & efficient. We had breakfast served in our room which was spot on 👌. The Orchid Restaurant on the ground floor is superb. We would be delighted to stay here again 👍"

"I highly recommend the Grafton. Friendly welcome, I had a meeting in the town the next morning an they gave me a car parking pass so I don’t not need to move my car. Room had everything I needed, spacious and very comfortable. "

"Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. "

"My room was kept very clean especially as I managed to tread mud on my shoes. I was comfortable in bed and the temperature of my room was perfect. I loved the walk in shower too and the bathroom felt roomy."

Complimentary snacks as well as the usual tea and coffee much appreciated and great to have bottles of milk rather than tiny plastic pots. Great value for money and the breakfast was delicious with a large range of options and helpful staff "

"Amazing hotel, adequate spa. Whilst the pool is slightly warmed it quickly turns cold and it is missing a jacuzzi badly. Service in the hotel is second to none, every meal was lush and breakfast especially good. All the staff were courteous and prompt with any request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, just leave the trunks at home."

"Lovely hotel , nice room , very good breakfast and although a limited menu the food was excellent. Most of all the staff were amazing , nothing was too much trouble , friendly kind and efficient. The downside was how cold it was in the dining area. Will definitely return."
