I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful old restored 1850's home which is appointed as a
Bed and Breakfast accommodation. It is ideally located in a charming garden setting and was
within easy access to the Saturday Willunga Markets, and for me, just a stroll over the road to
where I needed to attend the Fleurieu Folk Music Festival, held on the last weekend of
October each year.
My room with ensuite was large, with shuttered bay windows to the front garden. Antique furniture, floor rugs and original art works complemented it. The bed was extremely comfortable with beautifully fresh top grade linen, which is always a plus. Plenty of bath towels, face cloths, etc. Other guests commented favourably on their respective rooms.
The dining room where breakfast was served looked onto the rear garden with an abundance of fruit trees roses and other flowering plants. The owner, our host, Nick, prepared and served delicious breakfasts from ingredients sourced from the garden and locally, and from the Farmers Market.
