We loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly, checking you in and showing you to your room. It has a semi-ryokan style. The rooms are stylish and contemporary and each one has it's own genuine onsen bath (just like the pictures). There are many facilities to explore (including a great indoor and outdoor public onsen) and the atmosphere is beautiful. My regret is I had not given us enough time to enjoy this spot as it is not a hotel to just check into and leave, it is one to spend time in,...

We spent a wonderful few days in sunny Morioka, and this hotel was the perfect base. It's strategically located close to the JR station, plus sites of interest are walkable.
Our room on the 8th floor had a beautiful view of the river and famous white bridge.
All staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to the breakfast room team who were so cheerful and hardworking, plus the food was delicious.
I would recommend the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka Ekimae to anyone.

Great hotel with very good location. Very nice Onsen and free massage chairs😊. Close to bus stops ( bus Nr1 take you directly to the Airport 1200yen) and JR train lines. Many restaurants around and walkable distance to the main Akita attractions. Only down side was breakfast, but is not hot part of hotel. Could be better. Generally highly recommend 👌

A great stay, but for only one night as we are travelling. However, would definitely use this hotel again the onsen was wonderful and breakfast very nice too. Could not fault this hotel.

The room is comfortable and has good temperature control. The Japanese breakfast is amazing abd delicious. Only 15 minutes walk from the station. Close to numerous restaurants and amenities.

Very happy with comfortable stay. Proper hotel service without the annoying penny pinching I’ve seen in a couple of hotel chains this trip. Good job Crown Plaza Akita - hotel service as it should be !!

Room was small but functional for one person and one can easily open a large suitcase on the floor which is not possible for most of the business hotels in Japan. Despite being on the first floor (floor 2) there was no sound from outside (a car park), no sound from any neighbours. The onsen was a major highlight open throughout afternoon, night and early morning so one can avoid the crowds. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Akita.

We had a fabulous stay here myself and adult daughter. The hotel was set in à beautiful area with lots to see (although you really need a car to get around and make the most of the area). The staff were exceptional even to the extent of posting on my daughter’s headphones which she accidentally left behind. The food was fantastic both dinner and breakfast. The highlight was the onsen which had a wonderful view over the river. Cannot recommend this enough
