"We have been staying at this property for a number of years, last time was April 2024. The hotel has changed hands since then & is now part of the Eurostars group. Clearly Eurostars have cut budgets. No more omelette station at breakfast, the pool doesn’t now open until May when it’s always already been open when we visit in late April. Rooms are looking tired & dated. This hotel is a 30 minute walk from the city centre & it was always worth the walk/cost of a cab for the value for money, the nice rooms, the food & the luxury feel. It’s now not. The small changes have negatively impacted the experience. It feels like a budget hotel now. Such a shame as we’ve loved staying here over the years but we will be staying elsewhere next time we visit this beautiful city."
