"Blackbear Guesthouse has lots of comfort and stylish character. I was a solo traveler without a car but was able to take advantage of a seasonal bus service along the Pacific Rim Highway between Tofino and Ucluelet to get into both towns. The hospitable owners were also happy to give me a lift to Tofino if our journeys coincided. I used Pacific Rim Navigators to get a return trip from Long Beach Airport to the Guesthouse, which is not too far from the airport."

"A basic room, it was perfectly fit for our needs. The beds were ok. Clean and cozy in the room. Can water taxi to west Banfield to get to more things, also a market there aswell and a restaurant. Worth the visit. "

"The facility was able to accommodate 4 brothers and souses. 2 sisters and their spouses were from Quebec and were totally amazed by the luxury and comfort of the house. The soaker tubs were appreciated after long days walking the trails or exploring. The view was great and full kitchen facilities helped beat any restaurant waits and allowed easier management of dietary issues. No issues recommending Blackrock for a memorable west coast experience."
