"It was adequate for a night ; I wouldn't suggest staying any longer than that. The mattresses seemed to be new but were very hard, not good for side sleepers. It is in the process of renovation but has a lot of work still needed, particularly the bathroom. The pool was also out of order. Eat somewhere else. The bar was understaffed with only a single worker acting as both bartender and waiter. Management just stood there givng the poor guy a nasty look without help or direction. Food tasted...

"Really enjoyed our stay. The room was great and the choice of breakfast was excellent. Loved the location and coziness to mingle with other guests. The staff are very friendly. Scott and Kate, I believe they are the owners are really nice people. We are glad we stayed there. "

"It was a quick overnight and back on the road for us on a cross country road trip. Beautiful historical home with a cute neighborhood. We took a walk with our morning coffee and learned about some local history. The house was well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable "

"The room was clean and the king bed was quite comfortable. The heater was a bit loud but very effective, and the heated air fan in the bath was a nice touch; plenty of hot water, too. The microwave oven was small but worked well, and the mini-fridge was bigger than many we've seen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and cheerfully accomodated our late arrival. "

"I never post negative reviews but this experience was awful. The room was dirty and had a lingering musty smell. The lights did not work upon entering. The room had dirt throughout. There were hairs on the bed and a stray toilet brush in the elevator. I also didn’t realize there’s a federal prison right behind the hotel. Which did not set well with my small children. I will say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I ever had. The only positive was the front desk staff were very kind....

"This was Labor Day Weekend, so the activities were all of of the property except for a Dog Day for the Humane society., with country music. Over all very quiet"

"in room 233 when we walked in it had a smell in it, that was coming from the bathroom. the toilet didn't have water in it. It smelled as if someone had used it and didn't flush. I peed and when i flushed there was no water in the toilet, but once I flushed the water came back. We did spray air freshener which ended up helping. The toilet did look a littler dirty. Other than that everything else was perfect "

"We didn’t stay. After being given an occupied room (contained luggage and personal belongings) we went to the desk thinking they had made a mistake of which room we were in. There was another guest who had been given a room that was dirty and supplied photos. The front desk clerk agreed to a refund as he didn’t have any clean rooms. It seemed as though they didn’t have staff. I did see one person cleaning near the desk but the front desk clerk kept leaving to go check on rooms himself. ...
