It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. "We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible....

"The Montimerso Skyscape was serene. Surrounded by nature and old medieval towns, it was the perfect mini honeymoon getaway. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We felt so at peace. The infinity pool was nice to relax by in the hot afternoons. They have the 2 cutest dogs on the property that come to greet you. At night you are filled with beauty night sky’s and the calm of nature."
