What a beatiful hotel! The staff were super helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the pool area was great to relax after a day of hiking. We are a couple in our 40s who enjoy being outdoors, we found this hotel by chance and absolutely loved it - Im pretty fussy so its a big complement! Its a great location for hiking and exploring the surrounding area and perfect for a digital detox (although they do have wifi) and to relax. The set menu in the restaurant was great...

Great location. Friendly staff and gorgeous little hotel. Gorgeousvview from the room. We'll worth the money. Would definitely recommend

We booked this on the day and arrived within several hours of making the reservation, and Manolo the owner was there to greet us. Lovely friendly man who runs the 14 century hotel as a hobby while running a dental practice. The attention to detail in the hotel is superb and location is in the old part of town with very narrow streets (when driving) but well worth hunting it down. Breakfast was a Spanish affair, simple but very tasty and looked after by 2 ladies who couldn’t have been...

This is a very basic hotel with limited facilities - no formal reception as such (we were given a code to retrieve our key from a key safe) - it all worked well. However, be aware that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down the loo + there is very very limited places in the immediate vicinity to eat/drink. Our room had a twin hotplate and great fridge but there are very few shops to source supplies (a trip to Guadix is probably the best solution). The hotel is a good location for...

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful villages of Laujar de Andarax and Fondon. It has plenty of parking and the hotel is large, modern, clean with a helpful and welcoming team. The rooms are individual apartment blocks with a balcony and terrace situated amongst the countryside, with plenty of trees, places to seat, easy access to the pool, quietness, dark skies for skywatching and a 20 minute (steep walk) to the local town of Laujar and trail routes such as El...

A beautiful small hotel with outstanding views. Although it is up a steep hill, the hotel, although basic, is everything you need for a few days stay. The restaurant next door is very good, and used by touists and locals alike. If you are hiking, the hotel has lots of info on trails and is near the start of most main routes.

Great convenient place. Close to the centre and easy to access from the motorway. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and all you need. Ample parking at the back.

Beautiful place but need to go into it thinking it’s more like an Airbnb. Do Your shopping before you arrive as there is nothing there. The onsite restaurant is amazing but not open often. No breakfast included even though on booking it says it is. You’ll need to buy essentials like milk, coffee, tea, basically everything food wise but it has its own kitchen and fridge freezer and cutlery etc. Amazing views Pool great Waterfall appreciated ! We booked the jacuzzi room and it was lovely. Sleep...

It is an amazing hotel, built into a rock, so you are actually staying in a luxury cave. The view was unbelievable, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic

It was good

We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Zaragoza to Almeria airport (picking someone up). Did not arrive till gone 9pm, but restaurant still open, had a great meal and some well deserved beers. Great find, very welcoming staff, everything in the room you would need and a great shower. Excellent value for money. Would use again if passing this way.

Did not use air con No idea about pets

When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay a lot, friendly staff, nice rooms with everything you need. 5 stars for the price.

Very nice & helpful reception and staff! Beautiful and lush garden! Great location!

Loved our stay here. Staff very friendly.
