"I really tried to like this place, but cannot recommend the gatekeepers house. It doesnt match the price point. Two-way communication was non-existent, got emails directly from them and through hotels.com, but never a response when replying. Oh well, we got in regardless. Hiccup? The place itself is a step up from glamping. The pool is the only redeeming element. It's clean & worked well for our family. Ants? yup, but not sure what they could do about it, your in the middle of a vineyard....

"Schönes Haus mit mehreren Terrassen und weitem Ausblick. Die ganze Quinta ist ein herrlicher Garten mit vielen Pflanzen und Plätzen zum Entspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen, aber aufgrund der steilen Wege sollte man einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein. Idalecio ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Schade dass wir nur drei Tage hier waren. "

"When I read reviews about this resort someone said the photos don’t do it justice as it’s much nicer, and oh boy is that true! This is such a beautiful place, with attention to every little detail and a great resort to relax and enjoy the Portuguese sun.
