"Everything was perfect, except that we couldn't stay longer. This is a beautiful boutique hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Amalfi, just a short walk from the ferry station. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped us find transportation when our ferry was canceled due to weather. The location could not be better. We cannot wait to return. "

"We had an unobstructed view of the water from our room, balcony and the dining areas of the hotel. The views were spectacular and peaceful as we watched swimmers and boaters enjoy the water. The accommodations were very appealing and the hotel was not overcrowded or noisy. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay to visit Amalfi but yet have separation from the busy and loud city streets. The hotel staff were excellent in all areas of service. "I traveled thru the Amalfi coast and Sicily for over 10 days and Hotel Residence was a favorite. Beautiful, good sized room, very clean. The location cannot be beat, you can walk to everything, but quiet at night. What really sets it apart is the staff, very approachable but professional. Antonio was very helpful with figuring out taxi and train arrangements. Highly recommend."

"Hotel Aurora was wonderful from the time we booked. The hotel reached out and arranged a private transfer from the airport. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. There was a nice breakfast daily. The hotel is located in walking distance to all the shopping and dining. When we left I forgot my watch in the bed and the hotel immediately alerted our driver and arranged to have to shipped back to me! We had a lovely stay. "
