"I stayed at this hotel for 7 days and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
I travel frequently for both business and leisure and often choose Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties because they are usually reliable. This stay, however, fell well below my expectations.
The most concerning issue was cleanliness and safety. On one occasion, a piece of glass fell from the sink area when I moved my hairdryer. It landed near my foot and, fortunately, did not cause an injury, but it was sharp enough that someone could have easily been hurt, especially in a bathroom where guests are often barefoot.
The following day, I found another piece of glass hidden inside a folded towel. I didn’t notice it until I cut my finger while using the towel. Finding glass in a supposedly clean towel was extremely alarming.
There were also several housekeeping issues throughout my stay. For three consecutive days, the bathroom floor mat was placed on a bench next to our clean belongings and seating area, which seemed unhygienic and unnecessary.
Additionally, one afternoon I returned from work hoping to rest before a scheduled conference call, only to find that my room had not yet been serviced. Housekeeping informed me I would need to leave the room for cleaning, but I was already on a work call. While the staff member ultimately accommodated the situation, it was still frustrating.
