"The room was clean and spacious. Has the usual complimentary hot drinks, hairdryer and also an iron and ironingboard. A choice of scrambled eggs, beans, bacon along witk a good range for a continental breakfast, served early from 6am both Saturday and Sunday, useful as I had to be a the event from 7.30am. Helpful, pleasant staff. Enjoyed my stay. Also this hotel was walking distance (5 mins) from the Telford indoor shopping centre where there was a large range of shops and places to eat."

"Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

"My room was more like a small apartment which was clean & comfortable & the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I didn’t get chance to try the restaurant but it was busy and smelt delicious, overall a very good value for money stay & I’ll definitely stay at the George again if I’m in town."

"We have stayed here on numerous occasions & find the staff are always friendly / helpful. However upon my original booking, it would have been nice to know that the pub now closes at 4pm every Sunday. I was looking forward to an evening meal as it has always been excellent in the past. I do concider the cost high to stay in a pub & considering we were not able to use all the amenities. So I may look elsewhere on my next visit to see family in Leominster."

"Gorgeous lodge that is really remote that it feels like a little private area. Very clean, close to other food places. Hot tub so lovely and warm. Nicely fenced off or closed off with hedges."

"Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"

"We had seen not very good reviews about the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 rooms booked family and standard, all clean. Hotel is very nice, easy to get to, good gym sauna pool facilities. Hotel is a bit worn but clean and like any other hotel. Breakfast was good. We stayed as there was a wedding function at the Hotel so can be noisy at night, but wasn't too bad. Hotel staff were very nice and helpfull. "The room was lovely, and comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was a very noisy fan somewhere outside my window, so I had to shut the windows on a hot night, the fan did go off, not sure what time, to be fair I do put the light out fairly early."

"Ideal place to stay whether on business or personal. Accommodation is separate block in carpark, which has plenty of parking. Marston’s restaurant food is excellent. Room was great with aircon if needed. Note 2 story with stairs, so best to phone if infirm so you can secure a first floor room. 8 full fat EV chargers on site, including Chademo.
