"My room was more like a small apartment which was clean & comfortable & the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I didn’t get chance to try the restaurant but it was busy and smelt delicious, overall a very good value for money stay & I’ll definitely stay at the George again if I’m in town."

"The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. "Lovely large room. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Generously refilled daily. Very friendly and helpful staff, made us feel welcome. Bar and air conditioned restaurant serving good homemade food. Good portion sizes too. Bus stop outside. Only 15 mins into Bridgenorth which is lovely too."
