"Needs updates"

"Great room, friendly staff, highly recomend nd"

"We stop here at least once a yr in our travels. This year it was not a great experience. The room smelled of dog pee and carpet was stained in all major walkways. The room was very humid maybe because right next to the pool area. The breakfast was typical except the waffle machine was broke and didn't show time so waffles ended up burnt. We went to restaurant next to property for breakfast."

"Both the kickback meal and breakfast were excellent and saved us money by not having to eat out. The extra perks of unlimited soda and popcorn make the money spent on our room an even better value. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for checking out the area. We would definitely stay here again if in Iowa city area in the future."

"Unfortunately, this was one of the least enjoyable hotel stays we’ve had. The room appeared old, poorly maintained, and not very clean. The pillowcases looked worn and stained, the carpet felt dirty, and several of the bed linens were torn. The bathroom was especially disappointing. The shower had visible rust, and the water never became more than lukewarm. Sleep was also difficult because the blackout curtains did not properly cover the window, allowing bright outdoor lights to shine into the...

"It was very close to the activities we wanted to do."

"Our stay was great! We biked to this BnB from Cedar Rapids and Carl was so nice to give us a ride to the trail the next morning. I would definitely recommend!"

"This would've been a five star review but for the postage stamp size pillows. If you don't mind sleeping on a throw pillow great! But if you want something bigger this isn't the place for you. The hotel could at least provide a variety. One woman who asked for a regular size pillow never got it"

"Guest should not have to pay for parking. This is a nice hotel and it is expensive, having to pay for parking is an insult."

"At check in, noise from water feature was so loud the receptionist and I had to shout at each other. To get to the converence center it was necessary to walk some distance throgh smoke filled casino. Buffet open only Thurs-Sun leaving only fance dinning or snack bar as options. Wait staff and service in fancy dinning slow and did not seem experienced, needing reminding what servicing pieces were needed."

"Rooms are nice, but the walls are thin (especially if you have a connecting room) and the water pressure is terrible. Breakfast is standard, seem to be very dog friendly. Overall a good stay."

"We were traveling and storms were all around. This was our only available option as most hotels were booked. It is nothing fancy and location seems weird, but clean and safe."

"The breakfast was good. The bed and bathroom/shower were nice. The towels were thread bare. The stairwell was dirty and there was vomit on the 2nd floor stairs. There were holes in the door frame. The temp was set to 66°... TOO COLD!? The little ggage cart was coming apart at the clothes hanging area"

"I didnt try the breakfast because i felt it was too expensive and i could get better options from nearby restaurants, Also I stayed previously in nearby hotels that had free coffee and breakfast included in the rate. It was disappointing that there was no free morning coffee service, I have stayed at hundred of hotels and most offer this."

"Been there several times over the last few months and the ice machines haven't been working the entire time."
