Great stay here at the Marriot! We came into town to visit some family in Creston and decided to stay in Atescadero. The hotel is super clean, quiet and friendly staff. Anthony who runs the continental breakfast is so accommodating and friendly to all the guests. The lobby area is so clean and has convenient options in the little market area if you need anything. Definitely would stay here again!
The pool area is so clean and a great place to hang out! They play music which was very enjoyable.

The staff was great, especially Anthony and the other young man who prepared breakfast. I stayed for a week, the room was clean once, yet the garbage wasn’t emptied in the common area. Appears the shower door was not installed correctly, there backwards. Honestly, I’m not sure I would stay there again, and I’m usually in Atascadero 3 out 4 weeks per month.

Breakfast was ok. They had muffins, coffee, water for tea, cereal, and two hot plate options which was either a breakfast ham sandwich and bacon. Not sure if it changes on a daily basis. Room was clean and comfortable but mattress was too hard for my taste.

The property was new and clean. It was convenient to where we were staying. The breakfast was very nice. We were sad that the pool was not open since that was one of the Considerations for choosing this hotel. We were in a room with a conjoining room. We could hear quite clearly everything that was being said in the other room. It's a good thing that they weren't having a party.

Worst service I’ve had at this hotel chain. Our room was next to the kitchen, so we could hear the entire conversation and laughter from the kitchen staff at 5:30 a.m., which I assume is when they started their shift. I called the front desk and the person told me they were just doing their job and that they would ask them to lower their voices. That never happened. It’s not the staff’s fault — they are indeed doing their job — but that room is not designed for rest, since it’s right next to the kitchen. I suggest assigning guests to rooms in a different area or asking the staff to try to keep their voices down at 5:30 a.m. We barely slept at all and we have to drive nine hours today. Definitely not a place to rest.
