Marvel at intricate carvings inside the UNESCO-listed Ajanta and Ellora Caves, where ancient Buddhist and Hindu art comes alive. Explore the Bibi Ka Maqbara ('mini Taj Mahal') and climb Daulatabad Fort for views that reveal why this historic city was once called Aurangabad.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel whilst visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves. The staff were all very obliging. The buffet breakfasts and dinner were very good, offering a range of Indian and western food. Considering it was a 5 star hotel, I thought the restaurant and bar prices were quite reasonably priced. The Indian dinner wine however, was not very good… way too sweet and quite expensive to boot. Stick with the beer or the gin.

Decent amenities
Round the clock tea coffee available in each floor (not in room)
Very elderly to avoid (as needs to walk to the mall area; climb 1 flight for breakfast)
Small room looked cramped

Staff accommodating and quite reasonable. Quite far from Ajanta caves but reasonably close to Elora caves. Taxi prices reasonable. Good breakfast buffet. Quite clean. They claimed the government shut down the internet so I had no internet access. I don’t know what to make of that. Young driver was fantastic

Nice hotel. However breakfast should include more options such as eggs. The rooms are specious but needs little maintenance e.g. room locker wasn't working .
