The receptionist's approach to the issue was not very nice, no apology and that I should have checked my messages, so it was my fault that I went to the hotel to check-in (?!). I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in.
