"What a great place! The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is very friendly and more than attentive. Their nightly happy hour was lovely especially when enjoyed on the expansive front porch. It is located definitely within a few miles of historic sightseeing. We attended a Macon Bacon ballgame which was quite a highlight in our travels. The 1842 Inn is definitely a go back to when we explore Macon further in the future. Thank you very much for a delightful and enjoyable few days while exploring Georgia."
