excellent option in Banos

We were just using this hotel for a brief overnight, but it would work well for anyone staying several days in the area. The staff couldn't be nicer and the service was terrific. It is not in the downtown area, but that is easily accessible by taxi for a low price. The breakfast was very good as well. This is just a very well-run place to stay if you are planning activities in the Banos area.

Edgar was so very helpful in arranging everything for us including our rooms. I was in Banos with two teenagers and it was perfect. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Very helpful hotel

We stayed the hotel 2 nights, bath water was very good and strong. They were very kindly, we got some bottles of water every day. They helped us to book day tour and taxi.

Although we did not have the "exceptional" experience that the previous reviewers talked about, the hotel is indeed clean, well-situated, and the manager, Edgar is an outstanding host. There was hot water at all times, water bottles in the rooms and the breakfast was indeed very good. Thank you.

We loved our stay!!! Edgar is so helpful and kind! He helped us plan and book all of our exursions, taxi rides, and gave us recommendations on local shops and restaurants! He had breakfast ready for us each morning (which was delicious!!!) and shared some Ecuadorian chocolate with us! He gave us complimentary waters and was always available to help us with anything we needed! The hotel is very clean and comfortable and in a great location right across from the police academy. Very safe and close/convienent to downtown! We can’t thank Edgar enough for making our trip so enjoyable!! Oh and he has the cutest little Pekinese dog and a kitty that hangout downstairs! They’re super sweet. We would recommend this hotel to everyone! We loved our experience!!!

Edgar is perhaps the kindest, most accommodating host I have ever met. It was truly a gift to be able to stay in his hotel. Sure, the property is a little ways out of town, but, in my opinion, worth it over and over for the amazing experience. Not to mention the breakfast is the most delicious breakfast we have had in Ecuador!

Recommended for great service

Great place and terrific staff. If the police training academy next door would be quieter, the neighborhood would appreciate it. Really close to town by taxi, which is readily available and cheap. I never waited more than five minutes. They need to fix the tv in the room, though.

The Manager makes it right

Manager is highly oriented to customer satisfaction and does everything needed to assure his customers spend a good time. Other Staff is also well trained and friendly. Laundry service in the premises is convenient. Some infrastructure limitations are compensated by efforts from Staff. Good quality/price ratio.

Amazing Service

The front desk at this hotel are really friendly and they go out of their way to help their guests. Hands down the best service I experienced in all of my travelling.

SUPER!!!

Me quede en La Villa del Penon dos noches y estuvo SUPER bien. Yo viajaba sola y era mi primera vez en Banos y Edgar me ayudo muchísimo. Me explico donde quedan tiendas, restaurantes y caminos y cosas para hacer en Banos. También me hice un bono de cajon justo en la SPA del hotel que estuvo super bien. Mi estadía en Banos no habría podido estar mejor! Muchas gracias, Edgar y a la próxima! Recomiendo a todos quedaros aqui.

Friendly host

Hotel was as expected. Very helpful and friendly host. Close to town. Great breakfast. Could do with a few extra amenities but otherwise very good.

Very Nice Place

The hotel is a short taxi ride from Banos center. Taxis are $1.25 from anywhere in and from Banos. It is walkable, but I think it's worth the $1.25. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Can help with any wishes. Bed was big, breakfast was delicious and made to order. Water pressure was good. It's in a gated area, not that I ever felt unsafe in Banos but it's a bonus. Based off the hotels that I saw in the town center it is a little quieter being not in the town. I was pleased with my stay.

Hotel con ambiente tranquilo y muy servicial

Nuestra estancia fue excelente. La habitación fue tranquila e limpia. El servicio fue de primera clase. Edgar es un gerente concienzudo que se esfuerza para hacer su tiempo allí placentero. El desayuno también era mas que esperábamos. Recomendamos a ese hotel a todo el mundo.

I would highly recommend this establishment!

Edgar was a friendly and helpful host. He assited us with planning our day and informed us of good local restaurants. The breakfast served at his hotel was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Edgar is the best!

Edgar is a fantastic host who went out of his way to help us make the most of our time in Banos. Whether it be organizing tours, calling us taxis or providing recommendations, he went above and beyond. You will not be disappointed, and Pescal the dog is a great addition to the hotel as well!

Very nice place with free secure parking. not within walking distance of Banos hot spring baths though.

Una muy buena atención.

La habitación muy cómoda, un ambiente familiar, la atención llena de amabilidad, les animo para que sigan así, los huéspedes nos sentimos muy a gusto, fueron días de descanso que el ambiente del hotel ayudó para lograr relajarse, sobre todo el momento de utilizar el spa.
